Anderson uit, chirurgie niet schijnt vereist.

Bad news, Anderson is in Denver.  Worse news: he's not feeling so hot.  Decent news: recovery won't involve surgery.

Mike Haynes  This just in...Coach Sacco says Anderson has knee injury but no surgery

Bad news again:  Derek may have been right:

The Avalanche Guild  Not sure if this is an "update" or speculation. RT @: Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson might have torn ACL. That would be awful.

Also,  looks like it'll be John Grahame who will get to play backup tomorrow for Peter Budaj (credit to Chia Pet).

Frei adds to it

CALGARY _ Avalanche coach Joe Sacco this afternoon said Craig Anderson had seen doctors back in Denver and the verdict was that the Colorado goaltender will be out “indefinitely” with a knee injury, but that he won’t require surgery.

“It’s going to require some treatment and rehab, and we hope to have him back as soon as possible,” Sacco said after Colorado’s practice in the Saddledome.

The Avalanche has recalled veteran goalie John Grahame, 35, from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League, and he will join the team in Calgary in time for Thursday night’s game against the Flames.
